How are the tours generally proceeded?

How are the tours generally proceeded? The multi media Bus Tour is hosted by a Berlin Music Guide. We drive the tours with extra DVD busses using different bus sizes, depending on the final group size. During the drive there are interviews shown we did extra for the music tours with various artists and musicians, makers of the Berlin Music Scene. They tell entertaining and fun stories and anecdotes, give away private details of their Berlin experiences and talk about their musical work with artists and bands. These interviews and video sequences are screened on monitors in the tour bus while we drive through the city or stop on certain points.

A regular Bus Tour runs for about 2, 5 hours, private or special tours can take longer, depending on your personal wishes and requests. Also we can organise shorter tours if you are very limited with your time.

The Hansa Studio Tour is an exclusive visit inside this legendary studio complex. Numerous national and international bands and artists have used the studios or still using them today. We start the studio tours usually in front of the building and discover it from bottom to the top, depending on which studio parts are available for a visit. By using many images and giving anecdotes and facts about the musical work there you will get an impression of Hansa from the old days and the recent atmosphere. If possible we listen to some bits of music and explain the studio equipment. In addition to the studio tours we can also book the studios for your exclusive recording session during a team building or other company event. Check out PRIVATE TOURS for further information.

A regular Hansa Studio Tour runs for about 2 hours.

The Walking Tour is a relaxed musical walk through the city’s neighbourhoods, recently we’re moving around Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte districts, more tours and areas will follow. Our Walking Tour Guides have many images, stories and anecdotes to tell on the way – we end this tour with visiting world famous Ramones Museum and a free drink there.

Like with the bus or studio tours we can arrange special walking tours depending on your requests and ideas.

A regular Walking Tour runs for about 2 hours and in winter only on request. The Special Tours are usually combining Bus and Studio Tour regarded to a specific artist or band, mainly we start these tours with a step into available parts of Hansa Studios and subsequently check out with the multi media bus various tour stations and locations connected with the artists or bands. Also here the tours mix the interviews and video sequences with the moderation from the Music Tour Guide.

A Special Tour runs usually for about 3-4 hours and is possible to order by request and availability.

Why do I have to pre-order and can’t just show up at the tour date?

If we plan a bus tour an important thing is the sometimes quite chaotic traffic situation in Berlin. It does happen that the city center or other city areas are blocked for the traffic temporarily or building sites can be problematic. As we want to show you as much as possible on the tours we have sometimes to change the meeting point. But no worries – if you pre-order a tour we will give you all necessary information ahead.

Important for proper planning is the final group size for a tour date. We need some forerun to make a tour nice and relaxed for everyone. For instance is the final group size important for the tour bus size that we order. If you would join spontaneous it can happen that a tour is booked out already. Usually some days forerun are enough for a booking request.

Also for the Hansa Studio Tours and Walking Tours we need some forerun for proper planning and not least for giving you a final price for a tour.
